What do I need to do to sign up for this site?

From the facebook Sign Up page, just provide them with your full name, email address, desired password, gender, and date of birth.If you are a current high school student, you will have the option to join one of our supported high school networks. If you are no longer in high school, you can join one of our college or workplace networks. After you complete the sign up form, they will send an email to the address you provided. Clicking on the confirmation link will complete the sign up process.

How can I search for someone who isn't in any of my networks?

Facebook Search allows you to search for anything on the site, including people in other networks, provided they haven't restricted their privacy settings. From the Search page, just type the individual's name (Judy Gale Roberts Intarsia) into the search field. Once the results have been generated, you can use the filters on the left side of the page to narrow your search results by result type (e.g., People, Pages, Groups).

What is the Like button?

When you click "Like" on a Page, you are making a connection to that Page. The Page will be displayed in your profile, and in turn, you will be displayed on the Page as a person who likes that Page. The Page will also be able to post content into your News Feed.

The "Like" button is along the top of the page, just to the right of the "Judy Gale Roberts Intarsia".
